18th January 2025 – Not a club event – Picton Car Show – Whats in the Shed Picton
26th January 2025 – President’s Picnic – We are working with Mark & Lorraine Rayner and plans are formulating for an old school BYO everything picnic under the trees at Keating Park, McLean Island. Keating Park is the home of the Canterbury Vintage Machinery Club and is among tall stands of trees and open display areas. There are many sheds with extremely interesting pieces of vintage machinery, implements, and memorabilia including the engines and wheelhouse of the Tuhoe, a coastal freighter which foundered on the Kaiapoi Bar. There is also the possibility of an old school grass Karna to step us back to earlier times and fun in our cars.

23rd February 2025 – Save the date for this Mystery Run.
2nd March 2025 – Wings & Wheels Sheffield Fly In
While not strictly a club event we have historically supported this event and it’s an excellent opportunity for some country fun – Car show – Aircraft fly In, WW2 equipment displays and memorabilia, food stalls and more. In support of the local Fire Brigade and Malvern Order Of St Johns.

Ian was one of the GOOD BLOKES always willing to help with club events, hardworking – he set the standard for others to follow, good humoured always with a quick response with his very dry sense of humour. His 1971 Dodge Phoenix was one of his passions.
